Paul Bazely - Chair of TrusteesPaul is an actor who has worked all over the world including productions of ‘Richard III’ and ‘Hamlet’ at the National Theatre, the highly successful British TV comedy ‘Benidorm’, and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ for Disney. He also voices talking books for the Blue Mountain Centre of Meditation including a best-selling version of the Bhagavad Gita
Paul has a background in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and has a Certificate in Nonviolence Studies from the Metta Center for Nonviolence www.mettacenter.org. He currently sits on the International Peacebuilding Sub Committee of British Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW). With his skills and contacts in the mainstream media, combined with his knowledge of peace work, Paul is uniquely placed to support OpenEdge and the valuable work they do. Anish ChhibberAnish is a former youth and community worker currently completing a PhD project titled: A critical genealogy of black radical and anti-racist resistances to policing and bordering: geographies of defence, care, and abolition in and through London 1960-Present. They have been involved in activism and community organising related to police and border abolition in London since 2017. As an abolitionist, they see individual, collective and community practices of defence, care, and conflict transformation as essential for building a world full of love and without prisons, borders and the police.
